In general, the wall and floor gas boiler is a device that (instead of the central engine room) is able to supply hot water and boiler water for each unit of apartments (or villas) at the same time and can be easily installed instead of a wall or floor cabinet.

4. Circulation pump shaft release: If this shaft is clogged, pumping and circulating water will be difficult. Therefore, checking and servicing the circulation helps the circulation of hot and cold water.

5. Adjusting the gas valve: Checking this valve and resetting the bolts and nuts is a relatively specialized task that if not done well, the gas pressure will be defective. It is better to do this with the help of an expert. Also, if a proper strainer is placed on the gas valve, the life of the valve will be longer.

6. Temperature adjustment: Using the adjustment limit switches and the thermostatic valve located on the radiator, and according to the needs of the environment, adjust the temperature to your liking so that the environment reaches the right temperature and does not become too hot or cold.

7. Controlling the operation of the chimney or fan: In gas boilers with a fan, we must check the operation of the fan, but if the wall gas boiler is without a fan, we check the chimney paths so that there is no clogging. This can be done by simply throwing a small object into the chimney. If the path of this object is open, it can easily pass through the chimney.

Chimneys should not have many twists and turns, and each chimney should be for one device only. Make sure the chimney is healthy, the joints are not seamed and the oxygen valves are open, as improper use of the chimney carries the risk of suffocation and death. So take this seriously

When should descaling be done?

You may have experienced that while you are taking a shower, the hot water in the bath suddenly cools down. Then it heats up again after a while and this happens several times. This cooling and heating of water is one of the signs of sedimentation in heat tanks and gas boiler pipes.
Sediment in the pipes narrows the water path and as a result water flows in the pipes with less pressure and speed. For this reason, it cools until the water reaches the place of consumption.

Sediment in the heat reservoirs also thickens the source walls and requires more energy and heat to heat the water.

This can also lead to a hole in the water tank. So before you face these problems, it is better to start prevention yourself and do descaling.
How to descale the gas boiler?

It is best to hire a specialist repairman to complete your descaling and repair of your gas boiler. But if you want to do it yourself, here are some tips to help you do just that.

1- Unplug the gas boiler from the socket and open the gas boiler cover.

2- Close the cold water inlet valve of the gas boiler, then open the gas boiler filling valve clockwise. (Filling valve is a device used to control the flow of cold water entering the gas boiler.) Now open the hot water tap at the lowest point (which is usually the hot water tap of the toilet hose) to drain the system water. And set the gas boiler pressure hand to zero. In this way, you drain the gas boiler water.

3- Using two Allen screws number four, open the gas boiler converter that is connected to the blocks and then remove it.

4- Descale the gas boiler converter. To do this, they use a substance called discolor. Descaler is a chemical solution used to clean heating and cooling devices. You can be sure that this material will not harm your gas boiler because it is prepared according to its structure. But you should be careful to follow the necessary gas boiler when performing the service and use masks, gloves and work clothes. It is also best to cover your eyes with special glasses.

Then insert the blender into the hole in the converter to perform the acid wash. Wait a quarter and then rinse with water.

If the deposits are not completely removed, you should continue to heat and tap. In this way, you first bite the converter on the flame and heat it well, then hit it with a hammer or take it under water pressure to remove the rest of the sediments.

5- Now it is time to install the converter. But first, make sure to replace the o-rings if they are deformed. The o-ring is a ring connection used to install the converter.

6- Place the converter in its place so that its grooves are on the left side and install it.

7- Set the gas boiler pressure to one and a half and then turn it on.

If you do not have descaling experience, it is preferable to leave the repair and descaling of the gas boiler to an experienced and specialized repairman.

How to prevent the formation of scale in the gas boiler?

As mentioned earlier, the hardness of the water and the presence of minerals in it cause sediment in the pipes and reservoir. By using a purifier, we can largely prevent the occurrence of these deposits. When starting the gas boiler, we install the filters on the cold water inlet so that the salts in the water do not enter the device.

You can also use protective solutions against deposits. This greatly delays the formation of sediment layers.

Repair the gas boiler or replace it

The decision to repair the gas boiler or replace the installation items must be made after consideration and consultation with experts. In fact, it is a very specialized issue and can not be decided personally. However, in general, it can be said that most of the gas boiler service services that have led to the replacement of parts are related to leaks or perforated tanks. In other cases, repair is enough, which is recommended to leave to specialists.

Descaling the gas boiler with a pump

There is another method for descaling and repairing the gas boiler, which is not necessary to remove the heat exchanger and separate it from the device. In this method, an acid washing pump is used, which is placed inside the acid container and its outlet is connected to one side of the converter. The other side of the converter is also connected to the container with a hose. Now, by pumping acid into the exchanger, descaling is done and the sediment is removed using a hose. Finally, by pumping water into the converter, it is rinsed so that no acid remains in the device.

By using water purification filters, you can prevent the presence of solutes in the gas boiler device and the formation of sediment.
