Traction elevators are available in different types of gearbox traction elevators, loose traction elevators, motorless elevators and hoist elevators. Winch (traction) elevators are hung by a steel chain or rope and any thrust is applied to it in a way other than depreciation. There is no weight frame in such elevators.
Magnetic elevator In magnetic elevators, the equipment located on the wall of the elevator shaft and the rails with permanent magnet acts as the motor stator and the elevator car acts as the rotor. By connecting a current to the stator, it creates a magnetic field and induces it into the rotor. The magnetic field generated in the part and by induction of electric current by the stator windings, the windings placed on the rotor are charged and cause the cab to move. As a result, these elevators will not have components such as balance weights, engine room, steel cable, etc. These elevators have much higher safety than conventional elevators and therefore have a higher price.
Pneumatic elevator Pneumatic elevators are the newest type of elevator. In this type of elevator, the cabin is moved by pneumatic force.
